United States of America.

Who belongs to the USFCC?

The USFCC membership is open to researchers, organizations, and institutions
having an interest in culture collection activities in the US. Membership categories
include full, student, institution, and emeritus members.

What can the USFCC do for me?

The USFCC organizes workshops for teaching culture collection techniques and
symposia for promoting awareness of collection activities and resources. The
USFCC publishes information related to working in collections and promotes the
interests of culture collections both nationally and internationally.

The World Federation for Culture Collections lists 550 collections in 68 countries
on their informative website coordinated by the WDCM.
The USFCC is a member of the International Union of Microbial Societies and
the American Institute of Biolocical Sciences
